Overview

Sorvelin is a sensory iOS app developed by Kevin Hillabolt. This policy explains what data the app handles and how it is treated. The short version: Sorvelin collects nothing, transmits nothing, and runs entirely on your device.

What Sorvelin Does Not Collect

Sorvelin does not create accounts, collect personal information, request your contacts, location, microphone, camera, photos, or any other system-level permission beyond what iOS implicitly grants apps for haptics and audio playback.

Sorvelin does not contain any third-party analytics SDK, advertising SDK, attribution SDK, crash reporter, or remote logging service. There is no network code in the app and the binary makes no outbound requests.

What Is Stored Locally

Your sensory preferences (preset selection, haptic intensity, reduced-motion choice, probe handedness, cosmetic palette and audio pack) and your local behavioral profile used by the in-app adaptive engine are stored in UserDefaults on your device. This data never leaves your device.

If you delete the app, this data is removed by iOS along with it.

iCloud and Game Center

Sorvelin does not integrate with iCloud sync, CloudKit, or Game Center. Nothing is synced across devices and no leaderboards or achievements are reported.

Purchases and Advertising

Sorvelin is free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no advertising of any kind.

Children

Sorvelin contains no language and no social features. It does not knowingly collect any information from any user, including children. The app is appropriate for all ages and may be particularly useful for sensory regulation in younger users on the spectrum.

Apple App Analytics

Apple may collect aggregate, anonymized analytics through the App Store if you have opted into sharing analytics with app developers in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share With App Developers. That data is governed by Apple's privacy policy and is provided to developers as aggregate counts only — no per-user data is exposed.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at sorvelin.app/privacy.html with a revised date.
